OSCE CERTIFICATES OF RECOGNITION FOR LECTURERS OF THE „ACADEMY FOR CITIZENS“
Rene Trajckova, head of OSCE Bijeljina Field Office handed certificates of recognition to lecturers of the “Academy for citizens”, which was organized by the Municipality of Bijeljina and the OSCE last year.

ACADEMY FOR CITIZENS CONTRIBUTES CONVERGENCE OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT TO CITIZENS
Expressing her gratitude to lecturers on cooperation, Rene Trajckova noted that Bijeljina was one of seven municipalities in BiH in which “Academy for citizens” lectures were held. According to her, the aim of the Academy was the convergence of local government tocitizens, so citizens could be more involved in local government work and thus contribute to its better work.
Mayor of Bijeljina Mićo Mićić showed appreciation to the OSCE Mission and the speakers and noted that the Administrative Office of Bijeljina municipality decided to participate in this project to improve cooperation with citizens and make its work more transparent.
On this occasion, it was announced that preparations for the second round of the Academy of citizens will begin in March and that the beginning of the lecture is scheduled for April.
