Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Development has been founded due to  the Law on Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. The SME Agency covers territory of the Municipality of Bijeljina.

The main task of The  SME Agency is creating conditions for development of  entrepreneurship  on territory of the city of Bijeljina, by providing direct support for  entrepreneurs.

The main aimes of the SME Agency:

-        Starting new small and medium-sized enterprises

-        Creating new employment possibilities

-        Employment of young experts

-        Realization of new investments

-        Improving work conditions  for existing small and medium-sized enterprises

-        Increase the standard of living.
 

Functions of the SME Agency are:

• Activities aimed for providing support during the process of founding and starting  enterprises
• Support for the existing enterprises.
