Subdepartment of Treasury has the following responsibilities:

• Participation in creating municipal budget balance as well as supervision of the budget implementation in all consumers units
  
• Coordination with the work of Ministry of Finance concerning conducting and development of the treasury management
  
• Receiving and control of the forms for the treasury management, input of data and maintaining subsidiary books and treasury ledger of the Municipality
  
• Consolidation and harmonization of the bookkeeping records between municipal treasury and budget users/consumers units
  
• Development of periodical and annual financial statements of the Municipality, in accordance with regulations and standards of informing
  
• Development and application of bookkeeping methodology in accordance with requirements of international bookkeeping standards and accounting regulations
  
• Development and distribution of treasury reports, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance
  
• Payment on all kinds of obligations
  
• Control of regularity and legality of budget funds use from the point of view of treasury management including all consumer units
  
• Development of all procedures concerning treasury management and other procedures as well as monitoring their implementation
  
• Booking other accounts of special purpose
  
• Opening and closing accounts, initiative for the selection of banks, including development of a special section of tender documentation
  
• Classification and keeping documentation in accordance with regulations
  
• Other responsibilities by order of the Mayor or Head of the Department.
