Head of the Department Predrag Jovic was born on 1971 in Bijeljina.

Graduated at Secondary Agricultural School in Bijeljina. Graduated  at  Belgrade University,  Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field, in 2003.
From 1997 to February 2005 worked in private company  “Werden” in Bijeljina. From March 1 2005 to January 31 2006 worked in Agricultural and Medical Secondary school in Bijeljina as a professor.
From February 1, 2006 employed in Administration Service of Bijeljina Municipality, in Department of Inspections, as a municipal agricultural inspector.

In the year 2006, represented
Bijeljina Municipality in the program of organic food production as well as accreditation of certification house in BiH, under EU sponsorship. Owns IRCA ISO 22000:2005 Certificate of Food Safety Management System, no. 3720. Attended the course for the Food Safety Management System according to ISO 9000:2000 standards in the period March 19-23 2007 in Banja Luka, under supervision of consultants “Nigel Bauer&Associates” from Ireland. Successfully attended the workshop for internal auditors fulfilling 19011:2002 standard under supervision of consultants “Cady” from Sarajevo.

 

Department of Commerce and Agriculture is responsible for administrative jobs in the municipal scope of work, concerning:

  • Analytical operations in the scope of work of commerce and agriculture (industry, trade and supply, catering, tourism, crafts, traffic and communications, agriculture, forestry, water resources management)
  • Planning of development
  • Jobs in connection to private entrepreneurship, support for small and medium-sized enterprises, development of agricultural production, commasation and protection of agricultural land, animal husbandry, fruit growing, mini farms, organization of farmers, hunting and fishing
  • Other jobs which are put in the scope of work by special documents.
