Mićo Mićić was born on September 6, 1956 in Bijeljina. He finished elementary and secondary Technical school in Bijeljina and Faculty of Physical Education in Sarajevo in 1981.
From 1981 to 1992, Mr. Mićić worked as a professor in Secondary Education Center in Kalesija, and from 1992 to 1996 as a professor in Technical School in Bijeljina.
From 1996 to 2000, he worked as a Head of the Department of the veterans, the disabled persons and the civilian protection in the Administrative service of Bijeljina Municipality.
After elections in 2000, Mr. Mićić was elected as Minister for refugees and displaced persons in the Republic of Srpska Government, for the three year term. In the period 2003-2005, Mr. Mićić was elected Minister of Labor, Veterans and the Disabled Protection.
After the second term as Minister, he worked as Deputy Manager of Pension-Insurance Fund of Republic of Srpska.
In October 2005, Mr. Mićić was elected as Mayor of Bijeljina Municipality.
Mayor Mićić is married and has three children.
